Rodrigo Muniz Joins Al Ahli: Latest News in Football
Rodrigo Muniz, the Brazilian footballer who is widely regarded as one of the best players in his position, has joined Al Ahli, a team from Saudi Arabia's capital city, Riyadh.
Muniz, who previously played for several clubs including Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), was born on February 28, 1995. He started his professional career with Real Madrid and later moved to French club FC Nantes before signing for PSG in 2014.
In his time at PSG, Muniz made over 70 appearances and scored 26 goals in all competitions. However, he left the club in January 2018 after suffering a serious knee injury that forced him out of the season.
After his retirement from playing, Muniz went on to work as a coach for several teams in France, including AS Monaco, and then returned to Portugal where he signed for Portuguese club Benfica.
In addition to his coaching career, Muniz has also been involved in various charitable activities. In 2020, he donated $1 million to support the children of refugees in Syria.
As for Al Ahli, it seems like they have found a player who can bring their brand of football into the Saudi Arabian market. The club has a strong track record of success, having won the league title three times in four seasons since its inception in 2012.
