Bayern Munich: Kingsley Coman updates
Kingsley Coman, the forward who has been in fine form for Bayern Munich this season, is set to make his return from injury on Saturday against Wolfsburg.
The 21-year-old has been out since January with a knee injury and has been undergoing rehabilitation ever since. He made his comeback in the friendly against Dynamo Dresden earlier this month but was forced off injured after just half an hour.
Coman has been training with the first team again recently and will be hoping to impress when he returns to action. The winger has scored four goals and provided three assists in all competitions so far this season, showing that he remains one of Bayern's most important players.
However, the news isn't all good for Coman as his team-mate, Thiago Alcântara, has been ruled out for the rest of the season due to a cruciate ligament injury. This means that Bayern will have to rely more heavily on their other attacking options, such as Robert Lewandowski and Serge Gnabry.
Despite this setback, Bayern remain top of the Bundesliga table and are currently six points clear of second-placed RB Leipzig. They will be looking to continue their dominance at home against Wolfsburg on Saturday, where they have won seven of their last eight league games.
Overall, Coman's return to action could provide a much-needed boost for Bayern Munich, especially given their current form. However, it remains to be seen how quickly he can get back into the starting line-up and what impact his return will have on their title bid.
